Britam Holdings Top Gainer as ARM Cement ‘Sees Stars’ at the NSE

Britam Holdings was the top gainer of the day at the Nairobi Securities Exchange. The company gained 8.70 percent at the price of 15.00 shillings per share.

East Africa Cables came in as the second top gainer of the day with 7.53 percent at the price of 5.00 shillings per share.

Total Kenya and Williamson Tea Kenya gained 6.87 and 5.30 percent at the price of 35.00 and 159.00 shillings per share respectively.

Flame Tree Group gained 5.00 percent at the price of 4.20 shillings per share.

Liberty Kenya and Uchumi Supermarket lost 2.62 and 2.50 percent at the price of 13.00 and 1.95 shillings per share respectively.

Safaricom Plc retained its position as the top mover of the day after selling 9.46 million shares followed by Kenya Commercial Bank with 2.18 million shares.

WPP ScanGroup sold 1.87 million shares while Co-operative Bank and NIC Bank sold 1.60 million and 860,200 shares respectively.
