Take Advantage of Telkom’s 4G Data Offer and Browse More for Less

This morning, Telkom Kenya surprised me. I had taken some time without purchasing bundles from them.

I loaded up with 100 shillings and purchased 1GB with 99 shillings. When the notification came, I had received 2GB instead of 1GB. I had to go back to my phone just to confirm that what I had purchased was 1 GB and not 2GB. Yes. I was right. I had purchased 1GB but they had given me 2GB.

Excited, I ran up the stairs to inform the lady of the house the house of the ‘mistake’ Telkom Kenya had made. She looked at me like a scientist who had just discovered a new form of virus and said, “Watu wengine… kwani hujui Telkom wako na promotion? Shinda hapo!” (Some people….didn’t you know that Telko is having a promotion?”

As a good teacher explaining a new concept to an obedient student, she explained to me that Telkom Kenya is running a 4G Data offer that is set to expire on 26th of May.

“For instance, I just used 499 shillings to buy 3GB of data. I have been given 3GB more and now I have 6GB,” she said. I confirmed with her messages.

She then handed over a list of offers in terms of data from Telkom Kenya. Had she been sitting on the list all along? I wanted to shout but I remembered that it was almost lunchtime and she was supposed to cook. (I don’t know how to cook).

Apparently, if you used 999 shillings to buy 6GB from Telkom Kenya, they will give you 6GB more and you will have 12GB. How interesting? And if you buy 10GB at 1,499 shillings, you will get 10GB more and, therefore, you will have 20GB in total.

15GB data is going for 1,999 shillings from Telkom Kenya plus an additional 15GB for free to ensure that you browse more for less. And if you are a ‘heavy consumer,’ then you should go for 30GB for 2,999 shillings because I tell you, you will have 60GB in total.

Meanwhile, if you are not on Telkom right now, you are losing out.
