A Look at how the Shilling was Trading across Commercial Banks in Kenya

The Kenyan shilling was retailing at an average of 100.8250 shillings against the dollar across all the commercial banks with the Sterling Pound retailing at a mean of 135.4853 shillings.

Banks were buying the dollar at 100.73 shillings and selling it at 100.93 shillings. The Sterling Pound was being bought at 135.33 shillings and sold at 135.64 shillings. The Euro was being bought at 118.49 shillings and sold at 118.98 shillings.

Closer home, one Kenyan shilling was going for 37.61 Ugandan shillings and sold at 37.78 Ugandan shillings. 22.67 Tanzanian shillings were enough to give you one Kenyan shilling and if you opted to sell the shillings, you would go home with 22.53 Tanzanian shillings.
