Kenya Airways Flies as Top Gainer at the NSE on Tuesday

Kenya Airways emerged as the top gainer of the day at the Nairobi Securities Exchange on Wednesday, hours after receiving an addition 4.3 billion shillings from banks into its recovery program.

Kenya Airways gained 9.85 percent at the price of 11.15 shillings per share followed by CIC Insurance Group with 7.69 percent at the price of 4.90 shillings per share.

Uchumi Supermarket was the top loser of the day. The retailed lost 6.06 percent at the price of 1.55 shillings per share.

The second top loser of the day was Olympia Capital with 5.66 percent at the price of 2.50 shillings per share.

The top mover’s table was dominated by Safaricom Limited after selling 13.45 million shares followed by Britam Holdings with 9.57 million shares.
