The new wave of technological advancements has made smart machines and their applications a daily occurrence rather than mere fiction.

Slightly more than a decade ago, the talk of Artificial Intelligence (AI) was just but a conception in the minds of computer geeks and Sci-fi movies and novels. Fast forward to 2018, and AI has not only become a reality but also the center of the smart home.

The idea of a smart home is no longer a preserve for the tech-savvy individuals or the rich. Even though some of these appliances do have substantial price tags, the truth is that it is just a one-off cost. This, in the end, is quite effective as they are energy efficient and come with a modern touch of convenience.
