TPS Eastern Africa Rules The Top Gainers’ Table on Tuesday

The top gainer of the day at the Nairobi Securities Exchange (NSE) was the TPS East Africa (Serena) that gained 10.00 percent at the price of 27.50 shillings per share followed by Express with 9.41 percent at the price of 4.65 shillings per share.

Uchumi Supermarket, Liberty Kenya and Nairobi Business Ventures gained 5.56, 5.04 and 3.13 percent at the price of 0.95, 12.50 and 1.65 shillings per share respectively.

WPP ScanGroup was the top loser of the day with 9.24 percent at the price of 14.25 shillings per share followed by Olympia Capital with a loss of 8.00 percent at the price of 2.30 shillings per share.

Sanlam Kenya, Umeme and Centum Investment Company lost 7.29, 3.91 and 3.45 percent at the price of 22.25, 8.60 and 28.00 shillings per share respectively.

The top mover of the day was Safaricom PLC who sold 13.93 million shares followed by Equity Group who sold 6.38 million shares.

East African Breweries, Kenya Commercial Bank and Kenya Electricity Generating Company sold 3.93, 2.41 and 2.21 million shares respectively
