National Bank Roars Back To Top Gainers’ Position on Thursday

The National Bank of Kenya emerged as the top gainer of the day with 9.09 percent at the price of 6.00 shillings per share followed by Unga Group with 8.22 percent at the price of 39.50 shillings per share.

Home Afrika, Williamson Tea Kenya, and Safaricom Plc gained 7.14, 5.81 and 4.40 percent at the price of 0.75, 164.00 and 23.75 shillings per share respectively.

Kenya Power and Lighting Company was the top loser of the day with 8.05 percent at the price of 4.00 shillings per share followed by Umeme with a loss of 6.47 percent at the price of 7.95 shillings per share.

WPP ScanGroup, Express, and HF Group lost 6.21, 4.00 and 3.67 percent at the price of 13.60, 4.80 and 5.25 shillings per share respectively.

Safaricom and Barclays Bank were among the top movers of the day having sold 9.48 and 1.43 million shares respectively while Kenya Commercial Bank, Equity Group and Kenya Power and Lighting Company sold 973,600, and 871,900 and 856,400 shares.
