There are countries in the world where women are always not safe to move freely and do whatever they want. In such countries, women are raped, beaten up and in most cases killed.

Thomson Reuters has come up with a list of most dangerous countries in the world for women in 2018. This implies that women in these countries are more unsafe than in any part of the world.

India has emerged as the most insecure country in the world for women. Cases of young girls and women being gang-raped, beaten and killed have been on the rise in India. The situation has been made worse by the biased male-dominated judicial system that has always let the perpetrators walk free, further endangering the victims.

The second most dangerous country for women in Afghanistan. A majorly Islamic state, most laws about women are often tough and extreme. Being a war-torn country, thousands of those who are killed on a daily basis are defenseless women and children. The most common crime against women in Afghanistan is rape and exclusion.

Syria and Somalia are third and fourth most dangerous countries for women in the world. In Syria, it is all about war. Hundreds of those killed in a war in Syria and women and children. Women have also been kidnapped, raped and sold as sex slaves in other countries. Women are also not allowed to take part in major decision making.
