President Uhuru Kenyatta has addressed the Nation on the terror attack that happened at Riverside’s Dusit D2 exactly 17 hours after the attack began.

In his address, the President confirmed to Kenyans that 14 people had died following the attack while over 700 people had been evacuated with another unconfirmed number in hospitals receiving treatment after suffering gunshot wounds.

“All the terrorists have been eliminated the President while sending a stern reminder to the perpetrators saying, “We are a nation that never forgets those that hurt our children”.

“We are ready to deal with any threats to our country,” the President said and commended the security agencies and hospitals for their prompt action. The President went further to thank Kenyans who took to social media to spread a message of hope and oneness while thanking them for shunning those that are spreading fear and propaganda.

“I thank our international partners for showing solidarity and standing with us as they always have,” the President said while referring to International Powers that acted swiftly to help save lives at the Dusit D2 Complex.

“We will seek and pursue every person that has been involved in any way in financing and aiding this heinous attack and offer them no relief,” the President said while adding that” We have prevailed and always will prevail over evil,” in his reassurance to Kenyans.

“You are safe in Kenya,” the President concluded but not before he added his message of condolence to those that had lost their loved ones.
