Regus, the leading global workspace provider, recently announced that it will be opening a new business center at the Britam Towers, Nairobi in addition to scouting for opportunities outside Kenya’s capital.

The soon-to-be-opened business center at the Britam Towers comes on the heels of Regus opening two similar facilities at Fortis Tower in the Westlands node of Nairobi and Vienna Court along State House Road.

The expansion is to cater to the growing demand for flexible office space solutions which are being preferred by startups and other organizations that are looking to strike a balance between optimizing costs while offering employees convenient workplaces.

Regus Country Manager Joanne Bushell added that the firm is looking at the possibility of expanding outside Nairobi.

“Our global Property Development team are constantly reviewing new expansion areas within each of our countries.  I cannot share counties our team is looking into specifically, however, Mombasa is one of the areas we are looking into expanding to,” said Ms. Bushell in an email interview.

Regus’s flexible office space offer fast internet connectivity, a kitchen area, food and beverages, reception and administration services, clean restrooms and 24-hour support from the Regus global operations centers, all of which make for a comfortable work environment

In addition to tenants looking for flexible space solutions, landlords are similarly embracing this concept as it allows forms to fill up vacancies.
