Uchumi Supermarket Ends the Week as the Top Gainer of the Day

The top gainer of the day at the NSE was Uchumi Supermarket with 9.59 percent at the price of 0.80 shillings per share followed by Stanlib Fahari Income – REIT with 8.91 percent at the price of 11.00 shillings per share.

Eveready East Africa, Mumias Sugar Company and Liberty Kenya gained 8.11, 8.06 and 7.96 percent at the price of 1.20, 0.67 and 12.20 shillings per share respectively.

Nairobi Business Ventures was the top loser of the day 10.00 percent at the price of 0.90 shillings per share.

Flame Tree Group and Kenya Airways lost 5.74 and 4.38 percent at the price of 2.30 and 8.30 shillings per share respectively.

East African Breweries and Carbacid Investments lost 3.98 and 3.38 percent at the price of 311.00 and 10.00 shillings per share respectively.

The Kenya Power and Lighting Company was the top mover of the day after selling 2.78 million shares followed Safaricom with 1.61 million shares.

Kenya Commercial Bank and East African Breweries sold 1.32 and 1.14 million shares respectively while Kenya Electricity Generating Company sold 599,600 shares.
