Top Gainers, Losers and Movers at the NSE on Tuesday

The top gainer of the day was Centum Investments Company with 6.70 percent at the price of 37.40 shillings per share.

Kenya Power and Lighting Company and Equity Group gained 6.16 and 4.75 percent at the price of 5.00 and 43.00 shillings per share respectively.

Sasini Tea and Coffee and National Bank gained 4.71 and 4.55 percent at the price of 20.00 and 5.98 shillings per share respectively.

The East Africa Cables was the top loser of the day with 8.79 percent at the price of 2.80 shillings per share followed by Unga Group with 5.88 percent at the price of 36.00 shillings per share.

Home Afrika, Uchumi Supermarkets and Sameer Africa lost 4.35, 3.61 and 3.23 percent at the price of 0.66, 0.80 and 2.10 shillings per share respectively.

Safaricom Plc maintained its position as the top mover of the day having sold 20.16 million shares followed Barclays Bank of Kenya with 3.32 million shares.

Kenya Commercial Bank and Kenya Power and Lighting Company sold 1.16 and 1.45 million shares each while KenolKbil sold 959,700 shares.
