Eveready East Africa Kicks Off the Week as Top Gainer of The day

The top gainer of the day was Eveready East Africa with 10.00 percent at the price of 1.10 shillings per share followed by Kenya Airways with 7.59 percent at the price of 6.52 shillings per share.

Kenya Re-Insurance, Longhorn Publishers and Unga Group gained 4.74, 3.68 and 3.26 percent at the price of 14.35, 6.20 and 38.00 shillings per share respectively.

Umeme was the top loser of the day with 9.56 percent at the price of 5.30 shillings per share followed by Sameer Africa with 7.41 percent at the price of 2.00 shillings per share.

National Bank, Olympia Capital and TPS Eastern Africa (Serena) lost 6.67, 6.12 and 5.88 percent at the price of 5.60, 2.30 and 20.00 shillings per share respectively.

The top mover of the day was Umeme after selling 22.06 million shares followed by Safaricom Plc who sold 3.35 million shares.

Kenya Re-Insurance and Kenya Electricity Generating Company sold 674,500 and 604,200 shares respectively while Equity Group sold 252,000 shares.
