Wednesday: Eveready East Africa Rules the Top Losers’ Table

Eveready East Africa emerged as the top loser of the day at the NSE with 8.70 percent at the price of 1.05 shillings per share followed by Kenya Re-Insurance with a loss of 7.20 percent at the price of 11.60 shillings per share.

Bamburi Cement, I & M Holdings and Britam Holdings lost 6.47, 5.05 and 3.77 percent at the price of 130.00, 94.00 and 9.20 shillings per share respectively.

Kapchorua Tea Kenya was the top gainer of the day with 9.56 percent at the price of 74.50 shillings per share followed by Umeme with 7.94 percent at the price of 6.80 shillings per share.

Stanbic Holdings and Co-operative Bank gained 5.26 and 4.03 percent at the price of 100.00 and 15.50 shillings per share respectively while Mumias Sugar Company gained 4.00 percent at the price of 0.52 shillings per share.

Safaricom and Kenya Electricity Generating Company sold 3.77 and 2.91 shares during the session followed by Kenya Commercial Bank that sold 1.71 million shares.

Equity Group and Co-operative Bank sold 1.53 and 1.13 million shares respectively.
