The NSE: Olympia Capital Emerges as Top Gainer of the Day

The top gainer of the day on Tuesday at the Nairobi Securities Exchange (NSE) was Olympia Capital with 9.54 percent at the price of 2.64 shillings per share.

Trans-Century and TPS Eastern African (Serena) gained 5.81 and 5.00 percent at the price of 21.00 and 6.40 shillings per share respectively.

Longhorn Publishers and Mumias Sugar Company gained 4.58 and 3.45 percent at the price of 6.40 and 0.60 shillings per share respectively.

Kenya Airways and Car and General (K) were the first and second top losers of the day with 8.64 and 5.35 percent at the price of 5.50 and 23.00 shillings per share respectively.

Diamond Trust Bank, HF Group and National Bank lost 5.25, 5.07 and 5.07 percent at the price of 140.00, 5.62 and 5.60 shillings per share respectively.

The top mover of the day was Safaricom after selling 4.23 million shares followed by Equity Group with 1.94 million shares.

Kenya Commercial Bank sold 1.48 million shares while Kenya Airways and Co-operative Bank sold 933,500 and 481,500 shares respectively.
