Unga Group Shines At The NSE on Thursday

The top gainer of the day at the NSE on Thursday was Unga Group with 9.94 percent at the price of 34.30 shillings per share followed by Olympia Capital with 7.39 percent at the price of 2.47 shillings per share.

Trans-Century, Longhorn Publishers and HF Group gained 7.14, 4.65 and 4.41 percent at the price of 3.00, 6.30 and 4.50 shillings per share respectively.

Uchumi Supermarket was the top laggard of the day with 9.52 percent at the price of 0.38 shillings per share followed by National Bank with a loss of 7.19 percent at the price of 5.16 shillings per share.

NIC Group, Sameer Africa and East African Cables lost 6.02, 5.66 and 5.62 percent at the price of 32.00, 2.00 and 2.35 shillings per share respectively.

The top mover of the day was Safaricom who moved 14.34 million shares followed by Equity Group with 4.13 million shares.

Kenya Commercial Bank, Co-operative Bank, and HF Group sold 2.01, 1.48 and 1.14 million shares respectively.
