East African Cables Kicks off the Week as the Top Gainer of the Day

The top gainer of the day was the East African Cables with 8.49 percent at the price of 2.94 shillings per share followed by Mumias Sugar Company with 8.11 percent at the price of 0.40 shillings per share.

Stanlib Fahari Income- REIT, Longhorn Publishers, and Total Kenya gained 5.56, 3.50 and 2.00 percent at the price of 9.50, 7.10 and 28.00 shillings per share respectively.

Uchumi Supermarket was the top loser of the day with 9.62 percent at the price of 0.47 shillings per share followed by Jubilee Holdings with a loss of 7.34 percent at the price of 366.00 shillings per share.

Umeme, Flame Tree Group, and HF Group lost 6.25, 6.07 and 5.21 percent at the price 7.50, 2.63 and 4.00 shillings per share respectively.

Barclays Bank was the top mover of the day after moving 1.87 million shares followed by Safaricom with 1.33 million shares.

KCB Group sold 557,000 shares while Mumias Sugar Company and Kenya Power and Lighting sold 213,400 and 181,400 shares respectively.
