Bob Collymore to be Cremated in a Private Function at Kariokor

Safaricom’s former CEO Bob Collymore’s body will be cremated today, 2^nd July 2019 in a private ceremony to be held at Kariokor.

The body of the former CEO, who died on Monday at his Kitusuru home in Nairobi, spent the night at the Lee Funeral Home and left this morning for cremation, which is according to his wishes when he was alive.

The cremation process will take one-and-a-half hours and will be attended by a selected few which will include his closest family members who are his wife, Wambui Kamiru, four children, mother, and sister.

The family will later join friends in an open space for the ceremony. Bob Collymore’s family has continually requested to be granted privacy to lay their kin to rest.

Unlike expected of his stature, Bob’s sendoff will not be flocked by political leaders as the family seeks to honor his last wishes.
