BOC Kenya Kicks Off The Week as Top Gainer of The Day

The top gainer of the day at the Nairobi Securities Exchange (NSE) was BOC Kenya with 10.00 percent at the price of 71.50 shillings per share followed by Unga Group with 9.98 percent at the price of 36.35 shillings per share.

Flame Tree Group, Home Afrika and Longhorn Publishers gained 7.29, 5.26 and 5.00 percent at the price of 2.65, 0.60 and 8.40 shillings per share respectively.

The top loser was Sameer Africa with a loss of 7.46 percent at the price of 3.10 shillings per share followed by Uchumi Supermarket and I&M Holdings with a loss of 7.41 and 5.88 percent at the price of 0.50 and 56.00 shillings per share respectively.

Olympia Capital and Britam Holdings lost 4.17 and 3.92 percent at the price of 2.53 and 7.84 shillings per share respectively.

Despite being among the top losers of the day, Britam Holdings carried the day at the top mover with 2.80 million shares followed by Safaricom and Co-operative Bank who moved 2.56 and 2.08 million shares respectively.

Stanbic Holdings and Equity Group sold 1.03 million shares and 622,700 shares respectively.
