Flame Tree Group Rules The Top Gainers’ Table With 9.96%

Flame Tree Group edged out the Car and General (K) to emerge as the top gainer of the day on Tuesday at the Nairobi Securities Exchange (NSE).

Flame Tree Group was followed by Express, Total Kenya, Carbacid Investments and the East African Cables as the top 5 gainers of the day.

Flame Tree Group gained 9.96 percent at the price of 2.65 shillings per share followed by Express and Total Kenya with 9.71 and 5.86 percent at the price of 6.78 and 28.90 shillings per share respectively.

Carbacid Investments and the East African Cables gained 4.65 and 3.60 percent at the price of 9.00 and 2.59 shillings per share respectively.

The top losers of the day were Trans-Century, Olympia Capital, Eaagads, Crowne Berger and Uchumi Supermarket.

Trans-Century lost and Olympia Capital lost 10.00 percent each at the price of 3.60 and 2.34 shillings per share respectively.

Eaagads, Crowne Berger and Uchumi Supermarket lost 6.81, 5.33 and 5.26 percent at the price of 13.00, 80.00 and 0.36 shillings per share respectively.

Barclays Bank of Kenya was the top mover of the day after edging out Safaricom by moving 15.50 million shares followed by Safaricom with 6.86 million shares.

KCB Group sold 2.37 million shares while Equity Group and Centum Investments Company sold 920,600 and 822,900 shares respectively.
