EPL 2019/2020 Season Kicks Off, What Should We Expect?

The famous English Premier League (EPL) is set to begin this weekend and it’s inarguably going to be an unforgettable journey for all the participants.

We are going to have bantered for every minute and every game that is going to be played in various fields in England but, what are the possible outcomes of the league.

Here is an outlook

1. Possible winners-

With what transpired in the 2015/2016 season where Leicester won the premier league trophy, we cannot underestimate any team as for now we can look at the potential of the teams.

Manchester City is currently the most potential EPL winner from statistics and how the players are rated. With the good striking force and defense, who will be against them?

Liverpool is also potential winners but most of their players are currently not in the best form, but we can give them a larger share of the cake.

Arsenal, Chelsea, Tottenham and Manchester United can still win the title, but they have chronicles that are always shut down at the climax of the season.

Arsenal, for example, has the best potential of winning the title owing to their form in the preseason, but the North Londoners have been looking lethal season after season and ending up in their usual spots of four or five.

2.Teams to watch

We should obviously put our focus on the teams that finished in the top six the previous season and also avoid belittling the ‘small’ teams.
Looking down to small teams was one of the reasons Leicester lifted the cup, out of nowhere.

3.Transfer grades.

The transfer window which was closed this week saw several surprise transfers and from my own point of view, Arsenal should be given the best grades.

They brought in Kieran Tierney, which was their first port of call. And Nicolas Pepe is also an exciting addition. So, Arsenal fans will quite rightly be very excited. And who thought the North Londoners would secure a defender like David Luiz as their center back?

Manchester United signed Maguire, which is a plus, but they have been pulling PR stunts on exchanging Lukaku with other players like Dybala until the transfer windows closed.

Chelsea is not even getting grades. After Eden Hazard’s exit, the club did not even think of having a valuable signing to fill the gap. But they were given a transfer ban.

The first action of the EPL 2019/2020 will be played at Anfield as Liverpool will be seeking to outshine Norwich City to secure a first win of the season.

The most awaited game will be played on Sunday 11th where the Red Devils will have a tough task of ensuring that Manchester is not painted blue as they face off Chelsea FC.
