Longhorn Publishers Kicks Off The New Month As The Top Gainer

Longhorn Publishers was the top gainer of the day on Monday at the Nairobi Securities Exchange with 8.88 percent at the price of 7.60 shillings per share.

Nation Media Group and Crown Berger were the second and third gainers of the day with 5.12 and 4.38 percent at the price of 40.00 and 83.50 shillings per share respectively.

The fourth and fifth top gainers of the day were Uchumi Supermarket and Centum Investments Company with 3.33 and 3.09 percent at the price of 0.31 and 30.00 shillings per share respectively.

The top five losers of the day were Sameer Africa, WPP ScanGroup, Olympia Capital, Kapchorua Tea Kenya, and Williamson Tea Kenya.

Sameer Africa and WPP ScanGroup lost 7.22 and 4.38 percent at the price of 3.60 and 12.00 shillings per share respectively.

Olympia Capital and Kapchorua Tea Kenya were second and third top losers respectively with 4.29 and 4.11 percent at the price of 2.01 and 70.oo shillings per share.

Williamson Tea Kenya closed the top 5 losers of the day table with 3.70 percent at the price of 130.00 shillings per share.

Safaricom kicked off the week as the top mover of the day after moving 12.68 million shares with a market capitalization of 1.2 trillion.

Kenya Electricity Generating Company sold 326,600 while KCB Group moved 132,600 shares. Britam Holdings and I&M Holdings sold 131,700 and 112,400 shares.
