Bomet and Kiambu Counties To be Affected by Planned Power Outages

Bomet and Kiambu counties will today, 28th October 2019, be affected by Kenya Power’s scheduled power outages that are necessary for the maintenance of power lines.

Power outages in Bomet county are expected to start as early as 8:30 am and end at exactly 5:00 pm. Major areas to be affected by the power outages in Bomet county are Tenwek, Tirgaga and Ndarawetta.

Other areas to be affected by the power outage in Bomet county are Motigo Tea Factory, Mugango, Silibwet Market, Merigi, Siringorwet, Kabusare, Bondet, Kiromwok, Irwaga, Kitoben, among others.

In Kiambu county power interruptions in Mugutha, Waguthu Farm and Kenrub are set to start at 9:00 am and end at 5:00 pm.

More areas scheduled to be interrupted by power outages within the 9:00 am – 5:00 pm timelines in Kiambu county are Ruiru Law Courts, Watalaam, Mihotoro Farm, Green Belt, Part of Mugutha, DO’s office, Kangaita, Tassia, among others.

Muchatha, Nguruwe and Gakui areas in Kiambu county will have power interruptions from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm, with Part of Thimbigwa, Muchatha Primary School, Mungoiya School, Mungoiya Church, Whole of Gathanga Town, Gakui Factory being the most affected parts.
