Whole of Mai Mahiu to be Affected by Kenya Power Scheduled Outages

Mai Mahiu area in Nakuru County will be among the affected areas by the planned power outage by Kenya power today, 25th October 2019.

Kenya Power, through their twitter handle, has announced that the whole of Mai Mahiu will be in the dark until 5pm today with areas such as Mai Mahiu Town, Kobil Petrol Station, Shell Petrol Station, Mai Mahiu Secondary School, Old Kijabe Center, Kingori Estate, Mafuta Taa, among others being affected.

Other regions in the country to be affected by the planned power outage are the South Nyanza Region, Homabay County and the Coast Region.

In the South Nyanza Region, areas that are expected to experience power outages are Gesonso Market, Gesonso Police, Nyakungu, Suneka Market, Kiabusura, Motonto, Riana, Nyamira Ndogo, Chisaro, Gesebe, Kirwanda and adjacent customers.

In Homabay County, Raphedhi area will experience a day without electricity, particularly at the Deputy Governor Residence, Raphedhi Markrt, Oridi Girls, Sukari Industries, Ligodho Market, Oria Market, among others.

In the Coastal region, Kilifi County will experience power outages in Takaungu Village and adjacent customers.
