Top 10 Candidates in KCPE 2019 Results In Kenya

The Education Cabinet Secretary (CS) George Magoha released the Kenya Certificate of Primary (KCPE) results, yesterday, 18th November 2019, exactly 18 days since the candidates sat their last paper.
The 2019 KCPE results came three days earlier than 2018 results which were released on 21st November 2018. Public schools performed exemplary unlike in previous years when private schools demeaned public schools.
The top candidate in the 2019 KCPE results was Andy Michael Munyiri from Damacrest School, Thogoto topping with 440 marks out of 500 marks
Andy Munyiri was closely followed by Flavian Onyango (Chakol Girls), Sean Michael Ndung’u (Kitengela International) and June Cheptoo (Sang’alo Central) tied at second position two with 439 marks.
CS Magoha noted that the exam was void of any cheating and not a single fake paper was collected.

List of Top Ten KCPE Results 2019
- Andy Michael Munyiri – Damacrest School, Thogotho 440 marks
- Flavian Onyango – Chakol Girls 439 marks
- June Cheptoo Koech – Sang’alo Central Academy 439 marks
- Sean Ndung’u – Kitengela International School 439 marks
- Delcy Muhani Chelangat – Makini School, 437 marks
- Precious Nakhumicha – Gilgil Hills Academy, 436 marks
- Rickwarren Mburu – Emmanuel Primary School, 435 marks
- Bill Anunda – Lakewood School Kayole, 435 marks
- Noel Maswan – Makini School, 435 marks
- Wendy Odhiambo – Damacrest School Thogotho, 434 marks
KCPE candidates who scored between 301 and 400 marks are 243, 320, those that scored between 201 and 300 were 566, 886 while 262,307 candidates scored between 101 and 200 as 1,173 candidates scored 100 marks and below.
The Education CS also announced that 9,000 scholarships will be given to KCPE top performers to ease the transition, especially for the needy cases. The CS noted that by December 2, all the candidates would know the secondary schools they would join.
The selection process for those who will join form one come January 2020 will kick off tomorrow, 19th November 2019 and letters will be sent to students electronically as it was the case in 2018.
