President Donald Trump Impeached

The controversial President of the United States of America, Mr. Donald Trump has finally been impeached in a move that is likely to shape not only the United States but the world.

Donald Trump was impeached by the U.S House of Representatives on Wednesday night in a much-heated debate.

Trump has gone down in history as the only third President of the United States to be formally charged under the Constitution’s ultimate remedy for high crimes and misdemeanors.

The Wednesday vote was largely split along political party lines with the majority in the house carrying the day. The vote had also divided the nation of the United States over the accusation that Trump abused his power.

Donald Trump is said to have involved foreign governments to investigate his political rivals ahead of the 2020 presidential elections. He was also accused of obstructing the Congress from investigating him.

The impeachment war will now be moved to the Senate where political analysts say that Trump is likely to survive because the Republicans are the majority in the chamber.

If Trump will indeed survive the Senate (it is expected he will survive), he will go into re-election with impeachment baggage on him. His presidency remains one of the noisiest, chaotic and has had many casualties including Trump himself.

“The president is impeached,” Nancy Pelosi, the outspoken Speaker of the House of Representatives declared after the vote.

According to Pelosi, the impeachment was a “great day for the Constitution of the United States, a sad one for America that the president’s reckless activities necessitated us having to introduce articles of impeachment.”

In an angry tweet said “such atrocious lies by the radical left, do nothing democrats. This is an assault on America, and an assault on the Republican Party.”
