Top 10 Best Secondary Schools in KCSE 2019 Results

The Education Cabinet Secretary Professor George Magoha has today, 18th December 2019; announced the 2019 Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) examination results, three days earlier than was done last year.

The 2019 KCSE examination results had earlier, 16th December 2019, been approved by the Kenya National Examinations Council (Knec) board before they were submitted to President Uhuru.

A total of 699,745 candidates sat the 2019 Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) examinations where a total of 26,597 teachers marked the examinations in 20 stations.

The list of top ten secondary schools is based on the number of A grades produced by the institution as Kenya High School led in producing the highest number of grade A’s giving a huge gap to following giant Kapsabet Boys.

Below is a list of the top ten secondary schools across the Country as a number of giant schools noticeably miss in the list such as the Pangani Girls high School and Starehe Centre.

CS Magoha also ranked the top most improved candidates factoring their performance from their KCPE marks and the top best performers in the 2019 KCSE exams.

CS Magoha also noted that the process of receiving the results of KCSE 2019 would be available on SMS and online portal as soon as he officially declared the results released.

Speaking during the release of the KCSE 2019, the Teachers Service Commission CEO Dr. Nancy Macharia said that the Service Commission would deploy a total of 10,000 intern teachers to various public secondary schools across the country in January 2020.
