How to Pay JKIA Parking Fees Fast and Easy Using M-Pesa

The JKIA has just made paying parking fees for your cars at the airport as easy as drinking water through the use of M-Pesa.

In a new parking management system operationalized at the JKIA as of 24^th February 2020, you can now pay for your parking ticket using M-Pesa.

Unlike the normal way of paying for services or goods through an M-Pesa pay bill or till number where you need to go to your sim tool kit, the parking system uses a USSD code.

To pay using M-Pesa, KAA says that motorists can now use a USSD provided by a partnership between KAPS and Safaricom.

Here is how to pay for your parking fees at the JKIA in just a few minutes:

• Simply dial *486*12# on your Safaricom line and press call,
• The USSD code will bring a prompt on your screen Titled JKIA Parking Payment
• Enter your parking ticket number then press send
• The new prompt will then show you how much you will need to pay. Select send
• Another new prompt will require you to enter your M-Pesa pin to complete the payment of your parking fees

According to the Kenya Airports Authority (KAA), the parking system has eliminated pay points at exit points and in the process, ensured smooth exit by motorists from the airport.
