Tom Mboya Dormitory In Lenana School Is On Fire

Lenana School is on fire. The school, located along Ngong Road in Nairobi is in the process of registering losses as the flames continue to gutter down a dormitory in the institution.

The Kenya Red Cross has confirmed the fire incident saying emergency response teams which include fire fighting teams are currently at the scene in Lenana school fighting to put out the fire.

The school’s dormitory on fire is famous within the institution as Tom Mboya House.

The cause of the fire at the Lenana school is yet to be officially established though witnesses claim the fire is a result of an electric fault.

The extent of damage by the fire at the school is yet to be officially established and no casualties have been reported as students were in the classrooms.
