List Of 21 Counties With COVID-19 As Kenyans Defied Travel Orders

Kenyans were warned against traveling t0 the rural areas immediately the first COVID-19 case was announced on March 13th but the request by the Ministry of Health Cabinet Secretary Mutahi Kagwe but the pleas fell on deaf ears, the results of that is now evident as the cases have spread out.
Twenty-one Counties have reported cases of the deadly COVID-19 and just like Italy Kenyans ferried the deadly virus from Mombasa and Nairobi to their rural areas risking the lives of the elderly known to mostly be living in the rural parts of Kenya.
“This is virus is deadlier to us elderly people past the age of 50 years, the majority of our parents are in the rural areas and traveling to those places is killing them literally as you do not know your COVID-19 status and could even get the infection as you head home,” CS Mutahi Kagwe warned the youths.
“You will be killing your parents if you start migrating to the rural areas and as survival chances are very minimal among us the elderly, you will kill us in big numbers, you will bury us, your parents in large numbers and when and if this COVID-19 crisis is over, you will return to a failed economy,” CS Mutahi Kagwe warned.
As numbers are starting to show, the youth did not heed to CS Kagwe’s advise and as numbers do not lie, COVID-19 has hit the rural parts of Kenya and sadly if those in the areas do not strictly heed to the measures set out by the Health CS, then just as the CS predicted, we will bury the elderly of this nation, who are our parents and grandparents in big numbers.
According to the Health CAS Doctor Mercy Mwangangi, 21 counties have reported one to seven cases of COVID-19 and honestly, this virus did not ferry itself to these Counties.

If the numbers of COVID-19 spread out in Kenya’s 21 Counties are not enough reason for you to start heeding to the Government’s call to observe the set-out measures by the Ministry of Health then it is only fair that you consider yourself an enemy of humanity for this is no political fight, it is a fight of u all against a common enemy threatening to sweep out humanity.
