Nairobi Governor Gideon Mbuvi alias Mike Sonko has threatened to take Principal Secretary for Interior Karanja Kibicho to the International Criminal Court for committing crimes against humanity.

Sonko claims he has evidence showing that PS Kibicho accompanied by Regional Police Commander Philip Ndolo and Nairobi RC Wilson Njenga committed the crimes and he is willing to seek legal redress.

According to the claims by Sonko, PS Karanja and his counterparts committed the crimes in the months of March and April where they instructed police officers to impound goods worth thousands of dollars including Face-masks meant for supply to the Residents of informal settlements in Nairobi City.

Sonko also claimed that the trio has used police officers to demolish and vandalize installations including sanitization booths which were installed by the plaintiff.

Furthermore, the police officers stopped Sonko agents from fumigating and disinfecting streets and public establishments across Nairobi City as they followed an order from their bosses.

“The Defendants have failed to justify their sinister actions which risk millions of lives with any official position except bureaucracy,” Sonko said.

“I’m 100 percent sure the President is not aware of this but I have been saying the people around my Boss are messing this country.”

Sonko claims the actions of PS Kibicho and his counterparts have put the lives of millions of Kenyans at risk after breaching the articles 1.5, 53, and 7(1)(k) of the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court.

“The elderly, children and their Mothers are sleeping in the rains, what a curse? Let me study the Rome statues and engage the local and international lawyers,” the Nairobi Governor stated in a long Facebook post.

Sonko made these announcements after he found out that his sanitization booths including those erected in Gikomba and Kibera were vandalized.

The Nairobi Governor now says he will seek legal redress to make sure PS Kibicho and his colleagues are brought to book.
