List Of Stakeholders Performing Excellently In Fight Against COVID-19

Kenyans are the main hindrance to the fight against coronavirus according to a list released in a survey by InfoTrack while health workers rank the highest in the fight.

The war against COVID-19 has not been without its own share of challenges and with the numbers rising fast, it is becoming clear that there are parties that are working to ensure the country fails at the war either knowingly or unknowingly.

There have been those who have been hailed to the extent of receiving a Presidential award while there have been those who have been reproached from all angles of life.

According to the list released in the survey by InfoTrack, Kenyans are the hindrance to the fight against coronavirus by 71 percent in their failure to strictly adhere to the measures given by the Ministry of Health.

InfoTrack lists that there still remains a deep gap in coronavirus awareness among Kenyans, a factor that is contributing to the ignorant behavior exhibited and contributing to the rise of coronavirus cases in the country.

When weak healthcare systems have been reported to contribute to a 29 percent hindrance against coronavirus fight, corruption which is a major cause of the weak healthcare systems to start with has hindered the fight by 42 percent.

Members of Parliament (MPs), County Governments and the police are the weakest link among the key stakeholders fighting the spread of Coronavirus pandemic.

Kenyans rank health workers and the Ministry of Health as the top performers and applaud the government for extending the curfew days to enable curb the spread of coronavirus.

Kenyans have rated President Uhuru high in the manner in which his government is tackling the Coronavirus pandemic according to the InfoTrack survey.

The poor ranking of police is not surprising as Kenyans have already been quite loud in their disapproval in the manner the police have handled Kenyans in implementing the measures set to control the Coronavirus spread.
