Black Death
This pandemic hit the world between 1347 and 1352. It is still the most fatal pandemic recorded in human history. It killed at least 75 million people in Eurasia and North Africa. It peaked in Europe between 1347 and 1351.
Italian Plaque
This plague hit the world from 1623 to 1632. It killed at least 1,000,000 people. It was a series of bubonic outbreaks that swept Northern and Central Italy.
Great Plague of Sevilla
This occurred between 1647 and 1652, killing at least 2 million people. It was a massive outbreak of diseases in Spain that killed more than a quarter of the population of Sevilla.
The Great Plague of London
Occurred between 1666 and 1667. It was a series of bubonic outbreaks that rocked England, killing at least 100,000 people.
The Great Plague of Marseille
Happened between 1720 and 1722. The disease hit Western Europe and killed at least 100,000 people.
First Asia Europe Cholera Pandemic
Happened between 1816 and 1826. The pandemic killed from 1 to 2 million people.
Second Asia Europe Cholera Pandemic
From 1829 to 1856. It killed at least 1 million people in both Asia and Europe.
Russia Cholera Pandemic
From 1852 to 1860. The series of Cholera outbreaks in Russia killed at least 1,000,000 people.
Global Flu Pandemic
Hit the world from 1889 to 1890. The flu claimed at least 1.5 million lives across the world.
Sixth Cholera Pandemic
From 1899 to 1923. It killed at least 1,000,000 people. Cholera has appeared more than any other illness.
Encephalitis Lethargica Pandemic
From 1915 to 1923. It started in Europe before spreading across the world. It killed at least 1.5 million people and infected tens of millions of others.
Spanish Flu
This is considered the worst pandemic to have ever hit the world. It killed at least 100 million people across the world. Occurred from 1918 to 1920.
Asian Flu
Originated in Asia. Occurred from 1957 to 1958. It is estimated that it killed at least 2 million people.
Hong Kong Flu
From 1968 to 1969. It killed at least 1 million people. It started in Hong Kong China before spreading to other parts.

This happened in 2009 and killed at least 200 thousand people.
