4 Suspected Of Raping Woman As Children, Husband Watched Arrested

When the gang of five raided a family in Rumwe village in Njoro-Nakuru County on the night of 3rd July 2020, they left behind a trail of destruction that every member of the family would never forget but their proverbial 40 days have caught up with them.

The level of animosity the gang of five melted on the family left behind traumatized children as the gang forced the young ones to watch as they took turns to rape their mother as their father watched helplessly.

The gang after beating up the man of the house and tying him up, raping the mother in the children’s presence robbed the family of cash and household items including electronics before taking off.

According to Police reports, the gang was armed with crude weapons which were used to break into the Rumwe village home on 3rd July 2020, Friday, where they stole 34,000 shillings in cash, a D-light solar panel, a mountain bike, a gas cooker, and mobile phones before melting their most devious acts.

Shortly after ransacking the house, the gang beat up the man of the house and tied him after which they took turns to rape his wife while forcing the children to watch and later slaughtered a hen, prepared and eat it.

The DCI has announced that four suspected to have been part of the gang of five have been arrested by detectives on Monday at 4 a.m during a raid thanks to a tip-off from Nyumba Kumi, which helped nab the suspects namely; William Kihara Ndegwa -26 years of age, David Ng’ang’a Ngure – 22-years of age, Eliud Njoroge – 36 years of age and Geoffrey Mwangi – 36-years of age.

Before the police could catch up with the suspects, members of the public had already found one of the gang suspects, William Kihara, and was baying for his blood before the police rescued him and took him to hospital for treatment

A manhunt for the fifth member of the gang has since begun.
