Qatar Airways To Give Teachers 21,000 Free Tickets To Thank Them

Qatar Airways will give away 21,000 free complimentary tickets to teachers to travel across its destinations to thank them for their vital work in educating young people worldwide during the Covis-19 pandemic.

In a statement On Mondays, the airline said the free tickets will open on October 5th and close on October 8th. Teaching professionals from over 75 countries in which Qatar Airways currently operates are eligible for tickets.

To ensure the application process is fair and transparent, each country will receive a daily allocation of tickets, staggered over a three-day campaign period. The daily allocation will be released at 04:00 Am Doha time throughout the campaign period.

To be able to get a ticket, teachers must register online by submitting a form to receive a unique promotion code which will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis.

“We at Qatar Airways are incredibly grateful for the commitment and hard work of teaching professionals around the world who continue to educate our young people in these times of uncertainty”. Said the Airline

According to Qatar Airways, teachers that usefully register will receive one economy class return ticket to anywhere on Qatar Airways’ current network of more than 90 destinations worldwide.

In addition, they will receive a voucher for 50 percent off one future return ticket that they can use for themselves, a family member, or a friend. Both tickets are valid for travel up to 30th September.

“As the largest airline flying consistently throughout the pandemic, we have also supported students by flying to wherever they need to be to start their studies on charter as well as scheduled flights. As an airline, we firmly believe in the importance of education and committed to lending our support to educational causes”. Said the Airline

In a strategy that looks set woe more passengers to book the airline, the carrier has allowed passengers to change the date of their travel as well as the destination so long as it is within 5,000 miles of the original destination.
