Businessman Wins 12.4 Million Shillings From Sportpesa

A businessman from Embakasi, Nairobi has won a whopping 12,444,453 shillings (12.4 million) from Sportpesa’s midweek jackpot.

The 45-year-old Mutuku Muoka could not hide his joy when luck came knocking right his door upon him investing only 100 shillings.

“Being a businessman, there is no way I could invest 100 shillings in anything and get 12 million shillings. Sportpesa has made this happen,” he said while at the offices to pick his maiden cheaque.

He plans to invest the cash in boosting his business that had been hit hard by the sweeping Covid-19 pandemic. He says, gaming pays but one got to have brains. “You don’t just go there blindly.”

Sportpesa, the once giant gaming company in Kenya roared back into business after being offline following a brush between it and some government agencies.

The issues have since been resolved and the company has promised to reclaim it’s previous glory in the gaming industry that will include sponsoring local teams as well as talents.

The gaming site is already taking over Kenya by storm as Kenyans flock their to try their luck. “We had missed Sportpesa. Mtu asikudanganye. These guys were legit and always gave us something,” said James Kibyatur from Kasarani.

Sportpesa has two jackpots; midweek and mega. The midweek jackpot, as the name suggests comes in the middle of the week with the just concluded having hit 12 million shillings.

The mega jackpot has many Kenyans playing and hoping for the best. This is because with just 100 shillings, one stands a chance to win over 100 million shillings.
