How To Pay School Fees Using MCo-op Cash From Co-op

Kids went back to school on May 10, 2020. There is nothing that worries a parent other than not having paid school fees for their child. Technology has made it easy for parents to pay school fees without leaving the comfort of their homes.

Did you know that you can comfortably pay school fees for your child using MCo-op Cash from the Co-operative Bank of Kenya?

Here is how:

Transfer money from your Co-op Bank account to the School’s Co-op Bank account through MCo-op Cash then:

• Dial *667# or use the MCo-opCash app and login with your MCo-opCash PIN

• Select Bank Transfer

• Select Other Co-op accounts

• Enter the School Co-op Account

• Select the account to transfer from

• Enter the amount you want to pay

• Enter the reason for payment: student’s name or admission number

• Confirm the transaction

• You will receive a confirmation SMS

What is MCo-op Cash?

MCo-op Cash is a platform (mobile app though can also be accessed through USSD) by the Co-operative Bank of Kenya that enables customers to carry out baking activities including depositing cash, withdrawing cash, checking balance, taking loans, and paying for bills and services by use of their mobile phones.

To register to it:

• Dial *667#

• Select your favorable language i.e. English or Swahili

• Enter your Surname as it appears on your ID or Passport (Don’t forget to enter your other names as they appear on your ID or Passport)

• Enter your ID or Passport Number and Press OK to Continue.

• Select the ‘Yes’ option if you have an account with Cooperative Bank

• Accept the MCo-op Cash terms and conditions to finish your registration
