Uhuru Is President With No Regard For The Law

President Uhuru Kenya will go down in history and the president with no regard for the law. These are the sentiments of Former Chief Justice David Maraga when asked how he will remember the Son of Jomo who seems to be allergic to the Constitution.

“I will remember him as a president who has no regard for the law,” said Justice Maraga in an interview with KTN. This is the second bombshell aimed at Uhuru Kenyatta after another Former CJ Willy Mutunga sent his missiles on Tuesday.

In what has shocked the nation, Justice Maraga has said the list of the 34 judges that were appointed by President Uhuru Kenyatta was altered. Does this mean that the list includes those that were not interviewed by the Judicial Service Commission?

“I confirm that the names have changed. Those who were said to have integrity issues have been added to that list some have been removed. For the good of persons concerned I won’t name them,” Maraga said.

On June 3, 2021, President Uhuru Kenyatta appointed 34 out 41 judges for superior courts but declined to appoint Justices Aggrey Muchelule, George Odunga, Weldon Korir, and Prof Joel Ngugi who were to join the Court of Appeal.

CJ Maraga says he will not sit back and watch as the country slips back into anarchy under President Uhuru Kenya who seems to be totally ignorant of the Constitution of Kenya.

On his part, Former CJ Dr. Willy Mutunga blasted Uhuru Kenyatta saying that “Nothing in the oaths says “I will obey and protect only those aspects of the Constitution that I find convenient.” Mutunga said anyone who is uncomfortable with the constitution has no business being in office.
