One Pastor David Oyedepo of the Living Faith Church International, popularly known as Winners Chapel, has allegedly fired 40 other pastors over low revenue in the church’s branches.

According to a man who identified himself as Peter Godwin, he and forty other men of God were fired on July 1st by Oyedepo for failing to meet the financial demands of the ministry.

In a video that went viral on Twitter, Godwin said as a pastor he tried his best to win souls for the Living Faith Church but to his surprise, he was rewarded with a sack letter.

Pastor David Oyedego made it clear that the Living Faith Church does not operate on losses and so in short if you’re a pastor at a branch that does not bring more money to the ministry, then your services are cut short.

Peter Godwin went ahead to narrate the unfortunate turn of events for the forty-plus pastors adding that after being fired, he sought to know why he was let go yet he had not done any dubious activity or evil act.

The answer he got from the management, however, was not what he expected to hear. He was told that his services were no longer needed because his branch was becoming a liability to the Living Faith Church.

In addition to this, he was instructed to immediately vacate his official accommodation after handing over all the church properties including the ID card to the area pastor.

Adding to the insult, Godwin said that they were not given anything, and were told that the income revenue they had generated from their stations should be able to cater for their welfare and accommodations.
