Here Are ESPN And ESPN 2 Broadcast Highlights

The first live-action on ESPN arrives on the evening of Friday 29 October and sees Queens Park Rangers host Nottingham Forest in an EFL Championship clash (20:40 LIVE on ESPN).

Forest has enjoyed a recent revival under new manager Steve Cooper, who has backed Lewis Grabban to hit the 20-goal mark this season.

“He can score goals in this league, 100 percent,” said Cooper. “I think we’ve got a few players who can score goals. Some of them didn’t even start the game. I know that’s important, from experience. We’ve just got to keep getting bodies up the pitch. You think about Lewis’ goal and the first goal, we’re putting crosses in with good numbers in the box, trying to score a goal. That’s how we want to play.”

The EFL action continues on Saturday 30 October with Fulham welcoming West Bromwich Albion to Craven Cottage (13:25 LIVE on ESPN), before an Eredivisie clash between PSV and FC Twente takes center stage (16:20 LIVE on ESPN).

The Dutch action continues with a thrilling derby on Sunday 31 October, as Sparta Rotterdam faces cross-city rivals Feyenoord (12:05 LIVE on ESPN) before the MLS takes over with an early-evening game featuring Minnesota United at home to Sporting Kansas City (17:55 LIVE on ESPN).

The first live-action on ESPN will come from the bone-crunching NFL on the morning of Friday 29 October, as the Arizona Cardinals face the Green Bay Packers (02:20 LIVE on ESPN 2). The Packers hit a strong surge of form through October, with Aaron Jones praising the team’s versatility.

“I think it shows we will be okay,” Jones said. “It shows we can win games in multiple ways. We have the leaders that we need. We have everybody in the locker room that we need to get the job, just continue to put the work in and stack success.”

Saturday 30 and Sunday 31 October see a switch of focus to British football, with the EFL Championship clash between Stoke City and Cardiff City (15:55 LIVE on ESPN 2) and a Scottish Premiership battle between Motherwell and Rangers (12:55 LIVE on ESPN 2) respectively.

The early working week brings the NFL back onto center stage, as the morning of Monday 1 November sees the Minnesota Vikings host the Dallas Cowboys (01:20 LIVE on ESPN 2), while Tuesday 2 November has the New York Giants visiting the Kansas City Chiefs (02:15 LIVE on ESPN 2).

The Giants’ stuttering form has seen even their own fans booing the players, with Leonard Williams admitting that it affects his focus: “I mean [the boos] do bother me, honestly. Obviously, we’re in our own home stadium. We don’t want to be hearing boos from our own home fans,” said the Giants’ highest-paid player.

“I understand they have a right to be upset as well because they’re coming to see us put good football on the field and we haven’t been winning up to date. But at the same time, I don’t know. I just don’t like that.”
