KEY POINTS

Most of our elected leaders cannot stand firm to defend citizens. They would rather choose to serve the interests of their regional political Kingpins for fear of losing their seats during the next election.

The current political perambulations, hoodwinking, maneuvers, toxic utterances, and abundance of sheer political madness among other vices, are all attributed to a morally decayed and reckless group of careless Individuals in the leadership of this country.

It’s high time Kenyans put a stop to this mayhem by sweeping out all compromised leaders come august 2022. We have a supreme law, our constitution, that is openly violated by our elected leaders who took an oath to protect it.

They will then manipulate everything in their favor and self-aggrandizements. The current constitution seems to protect the rich and mighty more than it does the middle-class citizenry.

This is how we’ve ended up having a bunch of incompetent sycophants in the political class that only exists to be used by their Seniors to loot from public confers and settle specific political scores.

As prices of essential products such as Petrol, sugar, and milk sky-rocket, our elected leaders are busy politicking instead of taking legal measures through legislation to curb this mess.

They prefer to be seen shouting at funerals and playing blame games instead of taking legal measures to protect the destitute.

We live in a country where a politician will use public money to build a school and then brand the school with their names.

We`ve witnessed instances where politicians give a small help and use a huge amount of money to advertise how they helped. Some politicians even `donate` face masks bought with public money but branded with their names.

Imagine someone is using our own money(taxes) to massage their ego and we even clap for them and sing praises for them. It`s not funny.

A wake-up call to the oppressed and the less fortunate who have been deprived of their legal entitlements to enjoy basic fundamental human rights like shelter, clean water, quality education among others, it’s time to wake up from slumber and demand for what is rightfully ours.

Our political choices affect our lives directly and this informs why we shouldn`t complain after electing known crooks into public offices.

Integrity and vision are what we should look for while electing leaders. It`s never too late. Change is Inevitable.
