The first of two live NBA games this week arrives on the evening of Friday 26 November, with the Los Angeles Clippers playing host to the Detroit Pistons (22:30 LIVE on ESPN 2).

The Clippers have recovered from a poor start to the season and have put together a strong run of form in recent times. “We’re just playing with more flow and pace,” said Eric Bledsoe, who is back for his second stint with the Clippers. “We got tons of shooters.”

The Pistons, meanwhile, have struggled for consistency throughout. Jeremi Grant wants to see his team dig deep and get themselves out of trouble sooner rather than later.

“We’ve got a lot of things we need to figure out to be good in this league,” Grant said. “It’s growing pains, but we’ve got to slow down and learn the game.”

The second live Regular Season clash this week again features the Clippers, as they welcome the Golden State Warriors to the Staples Center in Los Angeles for a California derby (22:30 LIVE on ESPN).

The Warriors enjoyed a brilliant start to the season, with Stephen Curry naturally racking up the points at an astonishing rate, though coach Steve Kerr has warned that they have a target on their backs – as one of the early favorites for the championship – and that the team will find the going tougher on away trips such as this one.

“A lot of that is the way we’re playing, a lot of that is our fans, the energy in the building, there’s a really good vibe about the team, the fans feel it,” Kerr said. “Great way to start the year but now we’ve got to go out on the road and it’s going to get a lot tougher. We obviously are very happy to be where we are.”
