SportPesa is Not just a Betting Site – It’s Changing Lives

KEY POINTS
SportPesa is more than just a betting company. It is producing millionaires and at the same time nurturing youth talents and supporting community causes across the country.
Every week, sports enthusiasts hold their breaths as they await the results of SportPesa’s jackpot games. The betting site is the most popular gaming company with some of the best jackpots in Eastern Africa.
Seven years ago, anybody would have told you that you are wasting your time on sports betting. That was before SportPesa came into the picture.
It has become more than just a betting company. It is producing millionaires and at the same time nurturing youth talents and supporting community causes across the country.
The company has gained massive fame in Kenya and beyond – where it has changed the lives of many personalities and lifted them from abject poverty into being millionaires.
It has become a fancy to lots of individuals looking to become millionaires someday. Unsurprisingly, it has produced many millionaires over the years.
In 2018, Violet Wandaho Gathu, a Nakuru based woman became a millionaire after getting 13 game jackpot predictions right and walked away with 27 million shillings.
Her winning came not long after another winner of the Mega Jackpot, Gordon Ogada Paul made 17 correct predictions and walked home with a life-changing amount of 230,742,881 shillings.

The win marked the biggest in the Kenya’s betting history. In May 2017, a month after Samuel Abisai pocketed 221 million shillings three other lucky winners shared a total of 111,176,374 shillings.
Also in 2018, Cosmas Korir, a resident of Bomet County and an aspiring leader won 208,733,619 shillings on SportPesa mega jackpot.
These are not the SportPesa Mega Jackpot winners. The list seems endless, but the point is clear. SportPesa is transforming lives. The best part is that it holds no secret to winning. The jackpots can be won by anyone regardless of their status or where they are.
While many users are focused on the big bucks, others are less bothered and are concerned with winning the small bonuses offered. Their concentration on placing bets on few games has seen them gain substantial gains that have seen them push through the hard times.
SportPesa offers two types of jackpots – the normal jackpot that requires one to make 13 correct predictions, and the Mega Jackpot with a requirement of 17 correct prediction for one to win.
For the jackpot that regularly runs on 13 predictions, players also win some money if they make 12 correct predictions. Close tie winners often receive a good amount of money as well.
Meanwhile, if you are a fan, then you also know that SportPesa runs the Mega Jackpot games every weekend. When someone walks away with the whole amount, it starts over again at 100 million shillings and the amount keeps rising weekly until it is won when one correctly predicts the outcome of 17 games.
Mega Jackpot is equally shared among all the winners. Bonuses are awarded for 12 ,13,14,15 and 16 correct predictions. You can place as many bets as you wish on the Mega Jackpot and each bet costs 100 shillings.
The company has instituted an array of millionaires. With its efficiency, the SportPesa reliably communicates with its subscribers in cases of major and minor hitches in the firm.
Meanwhile, the lives changing are not only those of the jackpot winners. Through employment opportunities and the sponsorship programs, SportPesa is becoming embedded in our communities.
Currently, it has focused most of its CSR activities to helping mothers across the country deliver in hospitals safely, and affordably.
Since March 2021, SportPesa has supported the maternity units of several health centers in Nairobi, Bomet, Meru, Tharaka Nithi, and Kiambu counties. The latest was in Narok where it upgraded AIC Olasiti Dispensary with new delivery beds and equipment.
