If your circle does not inspire you to do more, dream more, and dare more, then you are not in a circle but a cell that will always be a buffer for your plans and inspirations for success. You are those you constantly surround yourself with.

Most of those around you don’t like the truth. In fact, the more you speak the truer words, the fewer friends you are likely to have. This is why many have perfected the art of living in falsehood in order to keep a cloud of friends around them.

The less you associate with some people, the more you will improve but when you tolerate mediocrity in others, your mediocrity increases too. It is good to drop that which is a threat to your well-being and this starts with those who always want to put you down.

The more you grow, the more you will realize that your associates change. So, as you move up the ladder, there are those that you will have to let go of, no matter what. You just need to trust the process and flow with the inner voice in your heart.

Some of your friends will never want you to go on. They will always want you to stay where they are. Remember, friends that don’t want you to climb up the ladder will want you to crawl.

Wise is the person who fortifies his life with the right friendships. If you run with wolves, you will learn how to howl but if you associate with eagles, you will learn how to soar to great heights. A mirror reflects a man’s face but what he is really like is shown by the kind of friends he chooses.
