Wetangula Accuses Uhuru of Being Tribalistic

Ford Kenya leader Moses Wetangula has accused President Uhuru Kenyatta of being tribal during the Sagana 3 meeting that was held on February 24.

Speaking during an aspirant meeting in Kandunyi Bungoma county, Wetangula said that the president should be in the first line to unite Kenyans since he is the symbol of unity, dignity, and respect of the country.

He added that the president’s allies are not advising him properly, what he termed as politics of tribe.

‘’When you are president you should be above tribe, it is unfortunate that people are not advising the president properly. Kenyans are uneasy to see you as president retreat somewhere and talk politics of tribe,’’ he said.

Wetangula added that Kenya kwanza Alliance will continue to see ODM party leader Raila Odinga as a state project as long as president Uhuru Kenyatta continues to campaign for him.

He urged the president to give Kenyan citizens a chance to elect a president of their choice, just like his predecessor Mwai Kibaki who after finishing his term left the Kenyan citizens to decide their next president.

At the same time, Wetangula urged the president to stop using public resources to campaign for Raila Odinga saying the Sagana meeting was fully funded by the state.
