Top 10 KCPE Candidates In Kenya

The KCPE Results are out. The results were announced by the Cabinet Secretary for Education Professor George Magoha. A total of 1.2 million candidates sat the 2021 KCPE examination.  The results were also verified by President Uhuru Kenyatta.

Here are the top 10 students:

1. Magata Bruce Mckenzie – Gilgil Hills Academy – 428 marks
2. Momanyi Ashley Kerubo – Makini School – 427 marks
3. Kwoma Charity Buyanzi -Holy Family Misikhu Girls Primary School- 426 marks
4. Mbugua Sharon Wairimu – Emmanuel Academy – 426 marks
5. Muteti Shantel Ndinda – Kitengela International School – 426 marks
6. Stanley Otieno Omondi – Rofin Field Junior School – 426 marks
7. Wekesa Naomi – Whitestar Academy – 426 marks
8. Kimani Ethan Karuga – Stepping Stones Preparatory – 426 marks
9. Njeru Joel Junior – Nyagwa Primary – 425 marks
10. Muriuki Victor – PCEA Mwimbi Boarding Primary school- 425 marks

“This KCPE is the last exam that is being released under the Jubilee leaders. This regime has ensured that the integrity is back in national examinations. This will also be the last KCPE before the country fully transitions to CBC,” said George Magoha.

At the same time, George Magoha has announced that the government has released cash that will see 9,000 poor students from poor families have their school fees paid from Form 1 to Form 4.

Those who scored 400 marks and above were 11,857.

“The Teachers Service Commission will be training at least 60,000 teachers to help handle the high level of transition from primary to secondary,” said Nancy Macharia, CEO TSC.
