How To Access Nairobi Expressway

Electronic Toll collection service, ETC allows toll points to be deducted electronically through a pre-installed On-Board unit (OBU)device, which offers you a non-stop road service that saves time and fuel.

For the categories of people who will use the Expressway, the Kenya National Highways Authority (KeNHA) has already started issuing the electronic pass from its offices next to Ramptons.

It’s advisable to take the chance now and get your gadgets installed before the rush starts.

Here are the application steps:

  1. Visit The service center at the Nairobi Expressway Plaza, Mombasa Road Opp. General Motors, applications, or websites from authorized banks.
  2. Fill out the subscriber Registration form
  3. Present national ID or passport and a logbook
  4. Pay a service fee of 1000 shillings (Inclusive of VAT)
  5. Install and update your On-Board Unit (OBU) device
  6. Purchase Toll Points
  7. Load Toll Points into your OBU device (Minimum of 2000 shillings valid for one year)
