The cost of living in Kenya has gone through the roof. Virtually everyone is wailing; both the rich and the poor. As things stand in this country, we shall soon have tens of rich human beings and millions of the extremely poor. Time for the rich to eat the poor?

There is no UHT milk on our shelves and the government cannot explain why the country does not have milk. Maybe Kenyan cows are standing in solidarity with the people of Ukraine to protest against Russia.

Kenyans are now not being allowed to buy more than one packet or carton of UHT milk from Supermarkets. The price has gone up by more than 20 percent in less than a month. The government is now thinking of importing milk from India and the Democratic Republic of Congo.
