TSC Announces Job Vacancies, Salaries And How To Apply

The Teachers Service Commission (TSC) has announced a mass recruitment exercise for tutors to fill several positions with salaries of up to 288,000 shillings monthly.

According to the TSC notice, which was released on Tuesday, August 2, the commission invited qualified candidates to submit their applications, for the jobs that are permanent and pensionable.

The positions- which include entry-level to senior jobs- range from Deputy Directors in various departments, Human Resource Officers, Accountants, and clerical officers among others

The salary ranges from 50,000 shillings to a maximum of 288,051 shillings. The terms and remuneration benefits for these positions include a house allowance determined by the Salaries and Remuneration Commission-SRC, and a commuter allowance ranging from 5,000 shillings to 16,000 shillings.

Others include leaving allowance as provided in the TSC Secretariat, an annual leave which is 30 working days per calendar year, a medical cover as provided in the TSC Secretariat medical scheme, and a five-year contract which is renewable based on the applicant’s performance.

TSC said only shortlisted candidates would be conducted and shall be required to produce originals of their National Identity Card, academic and professional certificates, and transcripts during interviews.

4. A new tab will be opened. Click on the downloads button.
5. Applicants will be granted access to the various job openings posted by the TSC
6. Candidates who fit the bill are advised to apply through the recruitment portal on the TSC website: www(dot)tsc(dot)go(dot)ke.
7. Interested and qualified candidates should apply on or before Friday, August 12, by 5:00 pm.
