- Oloolua Nature Trail
Oloolua Nature Trail is an oasis of tranquility situated in Karen. It features beautiful sceneries of indigenous trees and beautiful chirping birds, a magical cave, and a spectacular waterfall. It’s a great spot for group activities and it costs Ksh. 150 per person. To get there by public means, board matatu route 125/126 and alight at Maasai Lodge stage
- Memorial Park
The Park stands at the site of the former USA Embassy in Kenya. It serves as a memorial park to remember people who lost their lives on August 7, 1998, through a terrorist bomb attack. You only need a fee of about KSH30 to get it and is located at the Junction of Haile Selassie Avenue and Moi Avenue
- Nairobi National Park
The Nairobi National Park is located just a short drive out of the CBD, approximately 8 kilometers. Key attractions at the park include an animal orphanage, campsites, walking trails, an ivory burning site monument, and a rhino sanctuary
- Laser Tag – ABC Place Westlands
If you head down to ABC Place in Westlands over the weekend, you’ll find the folks at laser tag Kenya and for Ksh. 500 per person you’ll get to play a game. If you’re a group of eight or more, then the cost per person is Ksh. 400
- Rock Climbing
The setting, Parklands at Diamond Plaza, is particularly conducive to adventures. You feel like Spider-Man while rock climbing. The location provides an enjoyable activity for Ksh1,000 every session, ranging from beginner to expert levels.
- Karura Forest
It is a picturesque forest and one of the largest urban gazette forests in the world. It features scenic waterfalls, amazing picnic sites, beautiful caves, and spectacular indigenous trees. - David Sheldrake Wildlife Trust
You can access DSWT at the KWS Central Workshop Gate on Magadi Road just before the Multimedia University. It’s open from 11 am -12 pm. The entry charge is Ksh. 500 and once inside you’ll get to feed and pet the baby elephants
- National Museum
This is the place if you love Kenya’s history and the unknown tales that you might have heard but need clarification. This reasonable location is a great place to unwind, especially the art gallery with its multi-story pictures. Nairobi’s space is a short distance from the city’s center. It boasts a lovely scene.
